Vanniyan has always been a valued member of the forum, he has probably asked more questions than anyone else, his English is now very good. He has bags of enthusiasm and always want to learn new ways of  film making. He has never been disrespectful and always wants to please others.

I would employ him as film crew any day.

          Vanniyan,

Well done Sir, you may get an answer but probably not.

Btw, over the years, you were the most consistent member of the forum, you have been extremely loyal as with many other members who sadly have now disappeared.

Thank God we live in a democratic world where we enjoy freedom of speech.

            Abraham,

            Look forward to tuning in.

BTW. Are you moderator of the podcasts or the forum?  As we seem to have 2 moderators!  I was appointed 6 years ago! 😂

May I suggest reading ‘Wild Swans’ by Jung Chang 1991.  Would like to see this on the big screen but probably too sensitive for the present political climate. Would love to see Roger photograph this one, contains every element he could ever wish for.

                James,

Could you explain why my last post was deleted?

It was in response to Rogers previous answer which was also deleted.  Perhaps this question will also be squashed too.

I would have thought that the running costs of the forum would be incorporated in the annual expenditure of your business dealings. If that is the case then a webmaster or software designer would resolve the problem by designing a new forum that also includes the archives of the old forum. Would that be the way to go!

                  just my thoughts, that’s all.

Nice to see a ‘Ronford Baker’ on set.  They would love a copy of this.

BBC have now replaced theirs with ‘Miller’.

Very interesting podcast, one of the best you have done.

Green tiles in bathroom is now becoming fashionable, houses will soon have green energy and some people have even painted their houses green.

Not long now before we seen ‘green’ camera’s powered by the sun, they already have solar powered LED’s!

Changes cannot be made until Roger and James return from their promotional responsibilities until then you can chat to each other, there are lots of subjects to debate that relate to the film industry. The film business is changing all the time, new studios are being built especially in the U.K, new people are being trained and new facilities being set up, business is booming even with Covid still hanging around so the future is looking bright.

                              Thankyou Max,

Thats a good start to begin with, perhaps we can rekindle the old site.

Sorry about spelling mistakes but I also have editing issues too. We will have to wait until James gets back to tweak the computer.

All the old archives from the previous forum have disapeared but James is still working on this new forum so it’s possible she could retrieve them. The old archives contained a wealth of technical information going back 10 years or so so I hope they can be found.

I understand Roger and James are still running about promoting their new book and film so have limited time rectifying the new forum.
