BR2049 K rooftop gels

Goof evening Roger and all! I hope you’re doing well and enjoying the summer!

 

I’ve gone through your lighting diagrams for K’s rooftop set and I’m curious as to whether you remember what gels you used for the cool uplights in the scene? The diagrams show that you used betweenies for the upwards wash, but in the final film that wash is a cyan color. Do you think you’d have used CTB or something fancier?

I don’t remember using anything other than a blue gel on the Tweenies but there were some regular cool tubes in the mix. Together the effect would have been a little cyan in places.

Hello Roger, Are you talking about this scene ?

This was not the scene I was talking about. The color of the light here is coming entirely from the screen and the playback we shot for the scene.
