Differentiating Morning/Afternoon/Evening Lighting

Hello Mr. Deakins or to whoever responds!

My question is regarding lighting the three different times of day through the windows of a single bedroom. Presuming it is a sunny day in the scene, I figure morning and evening look pretty similar leaning towards a warmer tone, but what is the approach for afternoon lighting. Could you walk me through how you go about lighting for each of these scenarios?
