I don’t know the specific budget, but I remember reading about it at the time that the production did not have a lot of money. They rented an apartment for one year, and the majority of the shoot took place in that apartment with natural light. The crew used it for their accommodations as well during this time. Cinema Verite style- Super16. It’s always stayed with me.
