Great question. I think both methods have their place. Grids are useful when you need precise control, especially in commercial work, but bounced light often creates a more natural and organic feel. The softer wrap and less controlled spread can feel closer to how light behaves in real environments. It’s interesting how small choices in shaping light can completely change the mood of an image.
