Hello Mr. Deakins,
I have a little questions about the expression of colour and monochrome:
How would you like to regard the constraints of shooting with or without colour respectively? E.g. while shooting a black and white film such as The Man Who Wasn’t There, would you feel very restricted since it is a film without colour, or would you feel rather unleashed since the use of colour is not concerning anymore, therefore, it is easier to achieve a more satisfying and unique expression on the screen?
Thank you very much!
