Optical viewfinder

Do you find that using cameras like the Alexa Studio with an optical viewfinder changes the way you light and compose a shot?

Since an optical viewfinder shows excatly what’s in front of you (a natural representation of light and colors) versus an electronic finder with its digitally processed image through a look up table.

Now that you’ve changed over to a better electronic viewfinder (compared to the first Alexa), I wonder if you are liking or disliking the difference.

The latest electronic finders are good but I would prefer an optical one. Of course, that is no longer an option and we get used to what we have.

I thought ARRI designed an optical VF specifically to your design and use, it was mentioned in a German film magazine some years ago. Not sure if you got your wish.
