Different camera tint between Sicario and Prisoners?

Dear Roger,

outside of the obvious color temperature differences of the contrasting environments in ‘Sicario’ and ‘Prisoners’, the camera tint in ‘Sicario’ generally seems to lean a little towards green while in ‘Prisoners’ it seems to lean a little towards magenta.

Am I just imagining that or do you use green/magenta tint to adjust the look for a certain story?

The overall look of the movie is generally developed before any takes are shot and include the planned color grading, often developing a specific LUT for the movie. Therefore the decisions of color tint and “feel” don’t really need to be dialed in in-camera, but can be solved by using an according LUT in the DI.
