Roger,

When you are setting up a shot on the Alexa Studio, do you let the mirror rotate or do you park the mirror and only rotate it during recording?

I find the constant rotating shutter a bit distracting as my brain is used to film cameras where the mirror only rotates during recording. However, if I park the rotating shutter while setting up the shot, it could upset the other departments as they can’t see an image at video village.

I normally parked the mirror when I was lighting but it didn’t really bother me when it was rotating.
