      Hello everyone,

I want to recreat the old flash look we used for photography  from the last century.

You can see the effect I want to achieve here in the first 15 secondes

      or here

My thought was using an halogen bulb fixture with the flash effect on a dimmer but I’m not sure about the graduation and the fall of of the effect.

Then I don’t know which type of light to use, fresnel ? Open face ? Just a bulb ? Or maybe just rent real flash but I’m shooting with film and I don’t want and I can’t go over more than 64 Fps.

You can see bellow maybe the light they was using on the second video.

      Thank you !

You can’t beat using the real thing. A small lightning strikes unit might do the job.
