I can not explain how eager I am to read this book which arrived on my doorstep today – a Christmas gift from my beautiful wife. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wealth of knowledge with the world.

I just ordered this book and am excited to read it. I love the Team Deakins podcasts; I always learn something new. If anyone here has recommendations for other books, please let me know! I’m a screenwriter, not a cinematographer, so a lot of the technical information goes over my head. Yet I know everything I learn about other departments will make me a better writer so I’d love to hear recommendations.

My copy arrived a couple of days ago. It looks an amazing book and i didn’t expect It to be so big. I really really love how simple and elegant the graphic style is (well, simple and elegant is my idea of Roger’s style, so It makes sense) .
