      Hello everyone,

I’m looking for any tips/advice from anyone who has did lighting in a night exterior using minimal light setups. Basically I have an upcoming shoot, its very minimal budget and I may need to light a bit wide landscape of woods (forest). We can’t afford for generators and big setups so my go to option is to use battery powered LED lights (like aputure 1200d or so) and bounce it using a reflector from one side at particular height and distance. Any tips/advices or other way to do it? Thank you!

I might suggest you shoot any wide shots at dusk and take advantage of a dark sky. Otherwise, it is hard to give advice without knowing the complexity of the scene, the width of your shots and the style of shooting. It is one thing to light a static shot in a forest and another a long tracking shot that revolves 360º.
