Dear master Roger
Generally, in movies, moonlight is depicted in a blue color. However, nowadays some upcoming cinematographers—without considering the context of the story—have been filming night scenes using a ‘peacock blue’ (cyan) moonlight that seems to distort the core theme. To me, that’s looks artificial.
you are a long-standing experience best cinematographer, what is your thoughts on this? How do you perceive the difference between standard blue moonlight and this peacock blue shade? What is your opinion? One thing I know for sure: you would definitely not use peacock blue for moonlight
