Advice on the Shot Listing Process

Hi Roger,

Thank you for your time. I wanted to ask about the process of making a shot list and how you usually approach shot listing.

From interviews I’ve seen with Denis, it seems that on larger productions much of the work is already prepared during prep with storyboards, CG previs, etc. On the shooting day, how closely is that plan typically followed? Also, if you have a process that works well for you when building or adapting a shot list, I’d really appreciate hearing about it.
