Filters and convert (1 reply)

Hi there,
I see a lot of website talking about filters and the ones that always come up in the list are UV, ND and Polarizer. But it exists a few more (like the one I like is Black Pro Mist from Tiffen - probably used in the beautiful short "Raised by Krump" on Vimeo). What are the other ones that can be interesting to explore that I may don't know?
I'm thinking about buying some and just got told a tip for that. Using lens filter adapters (cheap) so I can get all my lenses diameter converted to 77mm for instance so I can buy just a single ND filter (expensive and good quality) or other filters... Does anyone has experienced or is doing this? Any feedback like vignetting issue, quality issue, shooting issue etc.? What diameter would you recommend me?

I am surprised that no one has answered this one

You will find all the information you need on the internet about filters.

Ofcourse, nowadays it all done on computer software but there are still a great following who use filters on the lens. There are dozens of filter manufacturers around the world but I still use Lee filters as they cover all of my needs. Btw. Many years ago I worked for Channel 0 Nunawading studios.
