David Baileys book launch 7 months ago have a few copies still available. Probably one of the biggest books ever printed, contains over 300 prints of the famous and ‘infamous’. Definitely, not a book to slide into your top pocket, infact you will need a large table just to turn the pages. Lovely photos of Jean Shrimpton with her ‘Teddy bear’ as she appeared in British Vogue and Vanity Fair. Actually, she now lives near me running a small hotel.
The price. $3,500 per copy. Limited edition. 3,000 copies only.
David Bailey now states that his wife takes better photos than him using her IPhone. He still uses all formats including 10x8 his favourite.
