Hi!

I´m been reading on the forum and other places about your LUT. You mentioned that you have this one LUT since Skyfall, and before each new movie, you do slight adjustments to it, like less saturation or something else to envision your creative approach to the story.  I´ve also read that when shooting at dusk in Sicaro you had the DIT doing some balancing in between the takes just so editorial would see the image "properly". My question is, with this one LUT do you ever make these "creative" changes on set,  depending on one scene specifically? I know you natural approach is to do in lighting, but I'm wondering if you ever ever did a slight change to the LUT for a very specific scene in a movie.  Did you ever have the DIT make an onset subtle changes for you - apart from matching scene? If so, could you share an example? Or do you never make changes to the LUT on set?

Not sure if you have already covered this topic somewhere else...

Thanks

I do make the occasional change to a scene on set but it serves only a reference for the way the footage is to be timed. More often than not I will reduce the contrast for a scene or reduce the saturation but I am only talking about very minor changes.
