Hi Roger,

I’ve been watching some bts footage from the scenes with George in the ruined city and it seems to be filmed in the daytime but I don’t know if that’s just because the bts was from rehearsals you did in daylight or if it was shot during the day and graded as night. What time of day did you shoot? If you shot it during the day what are the advantages of that over doing a night shoot?
Thanks,

Anca Badita

Those shots must have been from rehearsals. There is no way we could have shot during the day and obtain the effect we were after.

And it's a lot easier to rehearse in daylight!

Yes, and nights were short as they come when we were shooting this sequence in the UK.
