The editor did not specify 'cutting points' as such. The breaks in the action were laid out during our storyboarding process and based on location and technical restrictions.

Hello Mr. Deakins. May I ask one question? How did editors work in the production of 1917? Did they participate in the stage of designing the editing point or did they just do the editing job in the post-production? If they did design the editing point, what kind of opinions did they specifically offer?
