Thinking of renting a Joker 1600 over an M18? (1 reply and 2 comments)
I've got a project where I need to blast some light through some different house windows. Want to keep it on house power for the whole project.
Feels like most people would use an M18 in this situation but I'm thinking of using a joker 1600 instead, because it draws less power.
Do you think this will provide enough light, and the quality of light will be similar?
basically I'm curious about experienced peoples opinion of these two lights and their qualities of beam, color, brightness etc.
I would suggest the M18 would give you a better beam. Bear in mind the further the lamp is away from a window the sharper the beam. That is if you want the feeling of sunlight.
Thanks for the feedback!
Sorry Mister Deakins,
I just have to ask once more, how much better is the beam because I'm seeing a lot of practical benefits with going with the joker 1600, size and versatility being the top two. Wondering how much better the beam would be from the M18, can't get your comment about the beam out of my head when the joker 1600 seems so much more practical?
