Hi Roger,

I recently watched the BTS of No Country and spotted this particular piece of footage where we can see you operating a remote head on the establishing shot turning over the shoulder. Is that a 20x12 silk diffusion on the left side of the dolly track? You said that you sometimes like to diffuse bounced light closer to the actors. I have tried and it seems to soften and even the highlights that much more on the faces, making it feel even less 'lit' and in effect more 'natural'. But for this particular shot, was the intention to have the light 'reach' the space more evenly, being a wide shot?

I was diffusing some bounce light. The space was very restricted so that was a way to create a very soft side light.

Oh I see! Because of the smaller space, the bounce would have had a quicker fall off. Thanks, Roger.

Hello, just wanted to ask which light you were bouncing, if you remember. Thanks!
