Hi Roger,

Huge fan. I'm wondering about the NCFOM hotel room scene between Anton and Carson. Sometimes it seems like the simpler scenes are the hardest to light since there's nothing particularly "special" about them. How did you go about lighting this scene? What were your goals in terms of what the final lighting would look like compared to, say, the other hotel room scenes you've lit?

Thank you very much!

So much is about the choice of practical sources and window treatment. I wasn't trying to create anything special here, just a naturalistic and simple look.

Master roger I have heard about choice of practical sources only. How about variety of window treatments. How do you choose window for different context. Could you give some instance!

I'm just constantly impressed with how your attempts to be "naturalistic and simple" are always so beautiful. Thank you for your response!
