Was that Poor Man's? I don't think it was. I think we shot everything in 'No Country...' on the road.

I had an electrician waving a 'wand' that held two bare 60watt bulbs across the front windscreen. The bulbs were gelled and enclosed in some diffusion to create one small sodium like street light source.

If it's on location and depending on the camera angle, the car is usually towed so the actor/actress can focus on his/her craft. A rotating 'wand' can be setup on the platform to emulate street lights when there are none or not enough of them.
