Lighting question in film 1917 (3 replies and 1 comment)
That was just the two torches (flashlights). We spend a number of weeks working on those torches to get the right shape to the beam and the required intensity.
Roger, would it be fair to assume this was the same on Shawshank when you were filing Andy crawling through the pipe?
I think the pipe had a false end with a painting that looked like the pipe going on into the distance and I had a lamp on that. Otherwise it was just the flashlight.
I am glad to read this article. google»
Hello Roger, I have a lighting question from the film 1917. One of the scene when Schofield and Blake inspected something in a german dugout with their torchlights. Did this whole scene lit by torchlights? Do you add some practical light in that container? Thank you very much
