Some feedback on my work (2 replies and 2 comments)
Great images here but unsure what you are trying to say.
Its seems to be a mixture of a ‘pop’ video and a travelogue. This may mean more in India that it does in Europe. Try and work out what you want to say to the audience, assume you are making a showcase of your work. Your skills as a film maker should be more obvious so try to collate the images into a story which is more pleasing to the eye. Write the script with the audience in mind, how do you want the audience to react. Stick to the same theme all the way through rather than switch half way with unrelated subjects. You have some great images but it’s difficult to judge what they relate to.
Only my opinion, for what it’s worth!
Thank you for your feedback Mr. Mike it makes sense, i'll surely keep a note of what you've said.
I quite like your sense of composition. Maybe I'd just focus on maybe narrowing it down a bit more and focus on putting only your strongest shots as opposed to trying to fill up 2 minutes in terms of quantity. I also think that some of your stronger images are in the middle of the reel and maybe you should start with those rather than the shot of the candles.
Also, totally agree with some of Mike's thoughts about the storytelling aspect. It'd be great to showcase that through the reel.
Thank you for you inputs, gives me an insight on what I could better. I
