This is very surprising considering many people are choosing digital over film. Fuji have not yet published their figures for the same period.

Rental houses have been selling off their film camera’s thinking that film is coming to an end!  Hmm!

Fuji stopped selling motion picture camera negative stock a few years ago.

I understand that there is still a large amount of Fuji stock available from various worldwide sources and Fuji would still monitor sales to keep their books in order.
Interestingly, Kodak have published films that used their stock but how old was that film stock before it was sold. Providing the batch numbers match then older stock will do the job. Kodak UK have been selling older stock cheaper but the savings do not really justify the grief when things go wrong. Italy and Germany are gaining much interest from their new stocks and I hear that China are now gaining a foothold in film equipment production, not only are they producing dolley’s, cranes, lights etc but now have copies of Arri camera’s selling to the public at half the price and not just to rental houses. What h this space they say.
