Hi Roger and fellow members!

In May, I will have to shoot a short film as a final project of the year. This short film is about a family and all the story happens inside a house. The director wants a very well composed image so I would like to ask you: Do you know some films with good compositions in interiors that I could watch as an inspiration? Or maybe some still photographers, those are very useful too!!

Thank you everyone!

P.S: Sorry for my English 🙂

There are thousands of films to choose from, nearly every film has interior shots. It all depends on what you are looking for, this is a very open ended question. What does the script tell you?

Have a close look at Rogers films, all the information you need is in his films. What is the short film about?

Yes, I am looking all Roger films, Thank you!

The short films tells the story about a young boy who has been locked in the basement because his parents doesn't want him to see the real world. I was trying to find films that use wide lenses in interior as an inspiration.

There’s a wide choice of films to choose from but have a look at the interiors of “The Hill” starring Sean Connery, this has been discussed before but it is a powerful drama using wide lenses throughout.
You may find the lighting/composition interesting too.
