Roger, 

Do you remember what focal lengths you used for these close ups and OTS mid shots? The closeup looks like it is shot on a 65mm or 70mm and the OTS looks like a 40mm. Your choice of lenses adds so much depth and presence to a scene, it resonates with me far more than the detached feeling of a telephoto spectrum of lenses.

Those shots would have probably been made on a 32mm, a 35mm and a 40mm. I did shoot a few close up shots on a 50mm but I don't think I used one for this particular scene. I may have used a 65mm once or twice elsewhere on the film but I don't carry a 70mm.
