Simulating Realistic Lenses. (1 reply)
I'm really relatively new to the cinematography stuff and I've got a university project about simulating realistic lenses on 3D software (which will be Blender in my case as its free). I think a solid foundation on the topic would set the project in a good direction.
To that end, I think my starting question is what is the specific/technical name of cinema lens designers?(my searches only give really broad answers).
Ideally, I would be able to simulate a lens or two of the ARRI line, hopefully one of them being a Master Anamorphic.
Any other recommended sources or research or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
