Hi deakins,

You told couple of times in your forum still you are using exposure meter for reading exposure even after film gone. Weather camera is digital or film your principle is same.

But what I am asking for example if you read your fill light it indicate like f4/ will you just set the same exposure. Suppose if you set the same exposure then you are going to look at the optical viewfinder and monitor both are looking similar or it will shows any difference. If I want to use exposure meter and my monitor want to looking what my meter says what should I do. Should I want to calibrate my monitor separately. Using false color to set the exposure is the right way.?

Everyone has their own way of doing things. I am used to reading a meter and I read a meter. also look at the image on my DIT's calibrated monitor. Of course I would never trust a monitor unless it was accurately calibrated.

Some people like to use a false colour read out and it might work for you too. You just have to find the a way to work that you feel comfortable with.
